Policies
Terms of service
These terms apply when you book an appointment or buy anything from Gym.
Booking an appointment
A booking is confirmed when payment of the deposit, where one is required, has been taken. Until then the time is not held.
The price shown at the time of booking is the price for the service described. Where a service is listed as "from" a price, or as requiring a consultation, the final price depends on the work involved and is agreed with you before it begins.
Arriving late
The time reserved for you is the time available. If you arrive late, we will do what we can in the time remaining, and the full price still applies. If too little time remains to carry out the service safely, it will be treated as a missed appointment.
Your information
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us, including allergies, medical conditions and previous treatments. Some services cannot be performed safely without that information, and we may decline to carry out a service where it has not been provided.
Patch tests
Where a service requires a patch test, it must be completed within the stated period before the appointment. Without it, the appointment cannot go ahead and the cancellation policy applies.
Results
Every person responds differently to a treatment. We will tell you honestly what to expect, but we cannot guarantee a specific result, and aftercare affects how long any result lasts.
Children and guests
Please come alone unless you have arranged otherwise. Space is limited and some treatments require you to remain still.
Our right to decline
We may decline or stop a service where it would be unsafe, where required information has not been given, or where behaviour towards our team is abusive. Payment for time already reserved may still be due.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Cancellation and refunds
Changing or cancelling
You can change or cancel your appointment yourself up to 24 hours before it starts, and any deposit is refunded automatically.
Inside 24 hours, please contact us directly. Deposits for appointments cancelled inside that window may be retained, because the time can rarely be filled at short notice.
Missed appointments
An appointment you do not attend, and did not cancel, is treated as a missed appointment. The deposit is retained, and we may ask for the full price in advance of any future booking.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel or move your appointment, you will be offered the first suitable alternative time, or a full refund of anything paid. That choice is yours.
If you are unhappy with your service
Tell us within seven days. Where the work is not what was agreed, we will correct it at no charge wherever it is safe to do so. A change of mind about a style or colour that was carried out as agreed is not a fault, and is charged as a new service.
Retail products
Unopened products in their original condition may be returned within 14 days for a refund or exchange. For hygiene reasons, opened products cannot be returned unless faulty.

Privacy policy
This policy explains what Gym collects when you use this website or book an appointment, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you book, we collect the details needed to hold and honour the appointment: your name, your contact details, the service and time you chose, and anything you tell us in the booking form or notes.
If the booking form asks about allergies, medical conditions, medication or skin history, those answers are collected only so the service can be carried out safely. They are treated as sensitive and are seen only by the people performing your service.
When you pay, your card details are entered directly with our payment processor. They are never sent to, or stored on, this website.
We also receive ordinary technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and the pages you visit, which is used to keep the site working.
Why we collect it
To take and confirm your booking, to carry out the service safely, to take payment, to keep records we are required to keep, and to contact you about your appointment.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers that operate this site and process payments on our behalf, or where the law requires it.
Marketing
We only send marketing if you have asked for it, and every message includes a way to stop. Appointment confirmations and reminders are not marketing — they are part of the service you booked, and are sent regardless.
How long we keep it
Appointment and payment records are kept as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes. Intake answers are kept while you remain a client so we do not have to ask you the same health questions at every visit. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting some information may mean we can no longer offer you certain services safely.
You can reach us at Arch 42, Bermondsey London SE1 3XZ · (718) 555-0147.
Security
Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor. This site is served over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we do not store card numbers anywhere in this website.
Changes
We may update this policy. The version published here is the one that applies.
These are template policies, provided as a starting point. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer and are not legal advice. Check them against the rules that apply where you operate, and edit them in your back office.
